We value his naturalistic ensemble work, particularly when a film needs a professional figure we can believe. Chete Lera’s Antonio, the psychiatrist in Alejandro Amenábar’s *Open Your Eyes* (1997), is a useful place to start: a professional figure whose credibility matters in a film built on uncertainty.
