## Biography

Cheyne Lempe is a cinematographer and climber. He provided additional cinematography for the documentary *Free Solo* (2018), in which he also appears as himself. He has directed and served as cinematographer on several short films about climbing, including *As Long as Life Endures: A Climber Wedding* (2016) and *Not Just Another Day* (2020), and contributed footage to *Reel Rock* (2016).

Lempe grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado, and began climbing as a teenager. He has been a member of the Yosemite Search and Rescue team.
