## Biography

C. Chi-Yoon Chung is a Korean-American television editor and director. She emigrated from Korea to the United States at the age of five. After studying theatre and working as a dramaturge, she began her career in post-production as an assistant editor before moving into editing roles on series including *Stalker* (2014–2015) and *Conviction* (2016).

Chung edited eight episodes of *American Crime Story* (2016–2018), for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Limited Series or Movie for the episode “The Race Card”. She has also edited on *Feud* (2017), *Dopesick* (2021) and multiple episodes of *The Rookie* (2018–).

As a director she has worked on episodes of *The Rookie* (2020–2024), *Fire Country* (2022), *The Company You Keep* (2023) and other series including *Surfside Girls* (2022) and *The Cleaning Lady* (2022).
