Chris Burt (1942–2020) was a British producer, editor and director. He began his career as an editor on television series including *The Sweeney* (1975), for which he edited 17 episodes, and later directed one episode of the series. He also directed episodes of *The Professionals* (1977).

As a producer, Burt worked on several notable British television productions. These included *Reilly: Ace of Spies* (1983), *Inspector Morse* (1987), *The Woman in Black* (1989), *Goodnight, Mister Tom* (1998) and *Lewis* (2007). He served as executive producer on the feature film *Revolution* (1985).
