Chris Colfer is an American actor, singer and author. He was born on 27 May 1990 in Clovis, California.

Colfer gained recognition for playing Kurt Hummel on the television series *Glee* (2009–2015). He also wrote one episode of the series. His performance earned him the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2011, three consecutive People's Choice Awards for Favourite Comedic TV Actor, and two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
