Chris Croucher is an English writer, director and producer. He graduated with a BA in Film Production in 2003 and began his career as an assistant director on films and television series including *The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy* (2005), *28 Weeks Later* (2007), *The Deep Blue Sea* (2011) and early seasons of *Downton Abbey* (2010).

Croucher served as series producer on seasons 5 and 6 of *Downton Abbey*, for which he received two Emmy nominations. He has also produced series including *The Halcyon* (2017), *The Innocents* (2018) and *White Lines* (2020). His writing credits include short films such as *Meat* (2002) and *Friend Request Pending* (2012).
