Chris Dingess is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 17 February 1974 in Alexandria, Virginia.

Dingess began his career as a story editor and writer on the series *Ed* (2000–2004). He went on to write episodes of *Medium* (2005), *Reaper* (2007–2009), *Being Human* (2011–2014) and *Eastwick* (2009), while also serving as a producer or co-executive producer on several of these shows.

He later worked as a writer and executive producer on *Marvel's Agent Carter* (2015–2016), where he was showrunner, and contributed as writer and producer to *Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.* (2013–2016), *Doom Patrol* (2019–2023), *Emergence* (2019), *Kevin (Probably) Saves the World* (2017–2018) and *Gen V* (2023–).
