Chris Foggin is an English film and television director. Born on 15 September 1985 in Sunderland, he studied media and film at Northumbria University in Newcastle before beginning his career as a production assistant and assistant director on feature films.

He directed several short films from 2011, including *Friend Request Pending* (2012), which starred Judi Dench and Tom Hiddleston and screened at the BFI London Film Festival. His feature debut was *Kids in Love* (2016), followed by *Fisherman's Friends* (2019), *This Is Christmas* (2022) and *Bank of Dave* (2023). On television he has directed episodes of *Death in Paradise*, *Traces*, *Vera* and *Cold Feet*.
