## Biography

Chris Haddock is a Canadian screenwriter, producer and director. Born in Vancouver, he began as a street performer before focusing on television writing, with early credits on series including *MacGyver* and *Airwolf*.

He created and served as showrunner for the CBC dramas *Da Vinci's Inquest* (1998–2005), *Da Vinci's City Hall* (2005–2006), *Intelligence* (2006–2007) and *The Romeo Section* (2015–2016). He also worked as writer and co-executive producer on the HBO series *Boardwalk Empire* in its third season (2012), writing the episode 'Bone for Tuna' and receiving a Writers Guild of America nomination.

Haddock has won 14 Gemini Awards. His stage play *Helen Lawrence* received international productions in 2014.
