## Biography

Chris Kennedy is an Australian production designer. He studied at Swinburne and began working in the art department on Australian films before becoming a production designer.

He is known for his work on films including *The Proposition* (2005), *The Road* (2009), *Lawless* (2012), *The Water Diviner* (2014) and *Lion* (2016). Kennedy has collaborated frequently with director John Hillcoat. For *Lion* he received the AACTA Award for Best Production Design and a nomination for the Art Directors Guild Award.

Kennedy is a multiple winner of Australian film awards, including the Byron Kennedy Award in 2005.
