Chris Overton is an English actor and filmmaker. He was born and raised in Cannock, Staffordshire, and began his career as a child actor with roles including Young Phantom in *The Phantom of the Opera* (2004) and Noah Claypole in *Oliver Twist* (2005).

Overton played Liam McAllister in the soap opera *Hollyoaks* and appeared as Reggie Blennerhassett in the film *Pride* (2014). He later directed and produced the short film *The Silent Child* (2017), which won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. He is married to actress Rachel Shenton.
