## Biography

Chris Seager is a British cinematographer. Born in Leicester in 1949, he has worked extensively in film and television since the 1980s.

He served as director of photography on the BBC series *State of Play* (2003). His other credits include *Beautiful Thing* (1996), *Fever Pitch* (1997), *White Noise* (2005), *Stormbreaker* (2006), *Wild Child* (2008), *New in Town* (2009), *Retreat* (2011), episodes of *Game of Thrones* (2011–2013), *The White Princess* (2017), and *Monarch: Legacy of Monsters* (2023).

Seager is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers, having been invited in 1996 and elected vice president in 2008. He has won two BAFTA Awards.
