## Biography

Chris Sievernich is a German film producer. Born on 10 December 1946 in Frankfurt am Main, he entered the industry in the late 1970s as a production manager and joined Wim Wenders’ Road Movies Filmproduktion as a partner in 1979. He produced several of Wenders’ films in the early 1980s, including *Paris, Texas* (1984).

In 1987 Sievernich produced *The Dead*, directed by John Huston. He later worked as executive producer or producer on films including *Nurse Betty* (2000), *The Wedding Planner* (2001) and *Tamara* (2005). He served on the jury of the Berlin International Film Festival in 1985 and has been inactive as a producer since 2007.
