## Biography

Chris Wadsworth is an English television editor. He joined the BBC in 1976 as a videotape engineer in the Television Recording Department at Television Centre in London, becoming a senior recording engineer in 1978 and an editor in 1980.

He edited numerous BBC comedy series, including *Only Fools and Horses* from its first series in 1981, *Blackadder* (series 2–4), *Bread* (from 1986), *The Brittas Empire*, *As Time Goes By*, *Absolutely Fabulous* (series 1–3) and *Goodnight Sweetheart*. He left the BBC in 1998 to work freelance and later edited ten series of *My Family* and episodes of *Still Open All Hours*.
