Chris Walker is an English actor. Born in 1964 in South Elmsall, Yorkshire, he trained at Minsthorpe High School under playwright John Godber and began his career with stage work at Hull Truck Theatre.

He is known for his long-running role as Rob Hollins in the BBC soap opera *Doctors* (2009–2024). Other television credits include Matthew Mullen in *Playing the Field* (1998–2002), PC Larry 'Tiger' Barton in *Merseybeat* (2001–2004), and Detective Jim Prentice in the *Red Riding* trilogy (2009). He has also appeared in *The Bill*, *Coronation Street* and *Midsomer Murders*.

Walker won the British Soap Award for Best On-Screen Partnership in 2010 (with Jan Pearson) and again in 2023 for his work on *Doctors*. He has directed episodes of the series.
