Chris Yakaitis is an American screenwriter. He began working in television in 2008 as a researcher on the fifth season of *The Wire*. He served as script coordinator on *Treme* (2010–2013) across three seasons and received a teleplay credit for the third-season episode "The Greatest Love".

Yakaitis wrote two episodes of the web series *Banshee Origins* (2014) and contributed as writer, story editor and executive story editor on *The Deuce* (2017–2019). He was nominated for a Writers Guild of America award for New Series for his work on the latter.
