## Biography

Christel Grandchamp is a Swiss costume designer. Born in Vevey in 1984, she trained in fashion design, pattern making and sewing at the école Laura L in Lausanne from 2004 to 2006. She taught at the school for three years before founding Atelier Gran’Cri in Vevey in 2009, specialising in made-to-measure and haute couture.

Grandchamp’s first work in animation was creating costumes for the 2012 short *Monsieur l’assassin X*. She served as one of two lead costume designers on the 2016 stop-motion feature *My Life as a Zucchini* (also known as *Ma vie de Courgette*), sharing duties with Vanessa Riera and dressing characters including Raymond, Simon and several secondary roles. She has since worked as a primary-school teacher and created costumes for the teaser of Claude Barras’s *Sauvages!*.
