## Biography

Christian M. Goldbeck is a German production designer. He studied production design at the HFF Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg and graduated with a BA in architecture from the University of East London. He has worked as a freelance production designer since the early 2000s.

Goldbeck is known for his work on films including *All Quiet on the Western Front* (2022), for which he shared an Academy Award for Best Production Design, *The Reader* (2008), *Heidi* (2015), *The Perfect Secret* (2019) and *Krabat* (2008). He has collaborated repeatedly with directors such as Hans-Christian Schmid and Karoline Herfurth, and received multiple nominations for the German Film Prize.
