## Biography

Christian Marti is a French production designer. He began working in the art department on films including *Jean de Florette* (1986) and *Manon of the Spring* (1986), later taking production design roles on features such as *The Three Brothers* (1995), *The Horseman on the Roof* (1995), *Germinal* (1993) and *The Captive* (2000).

His credits include *Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life* (2010), *Godard Mon Amour* (2017) and *Simone: Woman of the Century* (2022). In 2023 he received the César Award for best production design for the latter film.
