## Biography

Christian Spurrier is a British screenwriter and journalist. Born on 21 February 1971 in England, he has written for television series including six episodes of *Silent Witness* (2006–2008) and three episodes of *Spooks* (also known as MI-5) between 2008 and 2009.

His other credits include an episode of *Silk* (2014), an episode of *Hunted* (2012) on which he also served as associate producer, and head writer duties on the Netflix miniseries *The Playlist* (2022). He is also credited on the screenplay for the 2000 film *Sorted* and has contributed articles to The Guardian.
