## Biography

Christophe Beaucarne is a Belgian cinematographer. He has worked on numerous French and international films since the 1990s, including early credits as an assistant camera operator.

Beaucarne received the Magritte Award for Best Cinematography for *Mr. Nobody* (2009). He was nominated for César Awards for Best Cinematography for *Coco Before Chanel* (2009), *On Tour* (2010), *Beauty and the Beast* (2014), *From the Land of the Moon* (2016) and *Barbara* (2017), and won the César for *Lost Illusions* (2021). Other notable credits include *The Brand New Testament* (2015), *Mood Indigo* (2013) and *Alone in Berlin* (2016). He is a member of the Association Française des directeurs de la photographie Cinématographique (AFC).

He is the son of the Belgian poet Julos Beaucarne.
