## Biography

Christopher Barbour is an American television writer and producer, also credited as Chris Barbour. He began his career in the late 1990s with assistant roles on films including *Arlington Road* (1998), *Species II* (1998), *Dude, Where's My Car?* (2000), *The Cell* (2000) and *Blade II* (2002).

Barbour moved into television writing with credits on *1-800-Missing* (2003) and *Crossing Jordan* (2001). He joined *CSI: Crime Scene Investigation* (2000) as a writer and rose through producing roles, serving as co-producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer across multiple seasons. He later wrote episodes of *Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders* (2016) and *Criminal Minds* (2005), where he also worked as co-executive producer and executive producer. His episode 'Lying Down With Dogs' for *CSI* earned a Genesis Award in 2008.
