## Biography

Christopher Norr is a cinematographer. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began working in the industry as a teenager, loading camera magazines for his father, the commercial cinematographer Carl Norr, from the age of 13 and shooting short films by 18.

He worked as a camera assistant on features including *Crimes and Misdemeanors* (1989) and *When Harry Met Sally...* (1989) before becoming a director of photography. Norr’s credits as DP include the feature *Sinister* (2012) and the series *Gotham* (2014–2016), for which he received three consecutive ASC Award nominations, as well as *Godfather of Harlem* (2019) and *Succession* (2018–), on which he served as co-cinematographer.

He was elected to membership of the American Society of Cinematographers in 2022.
