## Biography

Christopher Rowlands (1944–2025) was a British television editor and production manager. He began working at the BBC in 1965, initially editing film inserts for programmes including early episodes of *Doctor Who*, before moving into drama editing.

Rowlands edited episodes of *Doctor Who* in 1976 and contributed to *All Creatures Great and Small* (1978–1989). His other credits include *Dangerfield* (1995–1999), *Doctors* (as supervising editor, 2003–2008), *Play for Today*, *Nanny* and *Spyship*. He worked at BBC Pebble Mill from 1978 until 2011 and continued as a freelance editor.
