Christopher Smith is a British film director and screenwriter. He graduated from Bristol University with an MA in Film Production in 1998.

His feature films as director include *Creep* (2004), *Severance* (2006), *Triangle* (2009), *Black Death* (2010), *Get Santa* (2014), *Detour* (2016), *The Banishing* (2020) and *Consecration* (2023). He also wrote several of these, including *Triangle* and *Get Santa*. He has directed episodes of television series including *Alex Rider* (2020).
