## Biography

Christopher Wilkinson is an American screenwriter, producer and director. Born in New York City on 29 March 1950, he was educated at Temple University and began his career working in script development and as a second-unit director on films including *For the Boys* (1991) and *Intersection* (1994).

He has frequently collaborated with Stephen J. Rivele. Their screenplays include the Academy Award-nominated *Nixon* (1995), directed by Oliver Stone, and *Ali* (2001), directed by Michael Mann. Wilkinson also co-wrote and produced *Copying Beethoven* (2006) and wrote and produced *Birth of the Dragon* (2017). He contributed stories to *Pawn Sacrifice* (2015) and *Miles Ahead* (2016).
