## Biography

Christopher Wood was an English screenwriter and novelist. He wrote the screenplays for the James Bond films *The Spy Who Loved Me* (1977, with Richard Maibaum) and *Moonraker* (1979). He also wrote the authorised novelisations of both films.

Under the pseudonym Timothy Lea he wrote the *Confessions* series of humorous erotic novels, several of which were adapted into films for which he provided screenplays. He created a parallel series under the name Rosie Dixon. His other screenwriting credits include *Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins* (1985).

Wood was born in Lambeth, London, and died in southwest France in 2015. His death became widely known later that year when Roger Moore paid tribute to him on social media.
