Clare Maree Bowen is an Australian actress and singer. She is best known for playing Scarlett O'Connor in the television series *Nashville* (2012–2018).

Bowen was born on 12 May 1984 in Minnamurra, New South Wales. She graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Wollongong in 2006. Earlier credits include the film *The Combination* (2009) and the stage production of *Spring Awakening* (2010) at the Sydney Theatre Company. She has also appeared in *Dead Man's Burden* (2012).

Bowen is married to musician Brandon Robert Young.
