## Biography

Claude Brosset was a French actor. Born on 24 December 1943 in Juvisy-sur-Orge, Essonne, he trained at the Centre dramatique de la rue Blanche and the Conservatoire national d'art dramatique, where he studied under Fernand Ledoux. He won first prizes in classical and modern comedy and a second prize in tragedy. He made his screen debut at the age of twenty in a television adaptation of The Merry Wives of Windsor and later became a pensionnaire at the Comédie-Française.

Brosset appeared in more than a hundred films and television productions, usually in supporting roles.
