Clive Tickner is a British cinematographer. Born in December 1943 in Harrow, London, he studied sculpture at art college before completing a postgraduate course in filmmaking.

He founded a documentary production company and specialised in factual films for television until the early 1980s, when he began feature work including *The Ploughman's Lunch* (1983) for director Richard Eyre. His credits include *Hidden Agenda* (1990), *Split Second* (1992), *The Puppet Masters* (1994), *Loch Ness* (1996), *Twelfth Night* (1996) and *Spice World* (1997). He received BAFTA awards for the television series *Traffik* (1989) and *The Borrowers* (1992). Tickner is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC) and served as its president from 2000 to 2002.
