## Biography

Cobbie Yates is a British-Ghanaian costume designer from south-east London. He began working as a stylist on magazines and music videos at the age of 17 and co-founded the Orange Soda Film Club in London around 2013. His first feature credit came with *A Moving Image* (2016), directed by Shola Amoo.

Yates has worked on features including *Pirates* (2021), on which he assisted as his brother Reggie Yates directed; *The Silent Twins* (2022), which he co-designed; *Layla* (2024); and *Urchin* (2025). His television credits include *The Fear Index* (2022), *Without Sin* (2022), *Who Is Erin Carter?* (2023), *Queenie* (2024) and *Missing You* (2025). He was selected for the BAFTA Breakthrough cohort in 2024.
