## Biography

Colin Monie is a film and television editor from Glasgow, Scotland. After studying film and drama at university, he began working in the BBC Film Unit in Glasgow and has worked as a freelance editor since the early 1990s.

His feature credits include *The Magdalene Sisters* (2002), *Water* (2005), *Young Adam* (2003), *Hallam Foe* (2007), *Neds* (2010) and *Good Omens* (2019). He has edited multiple episodes of the television series *Shetland* (2013 onwards) and documentaries including *Jig* (2011).

His work has contributed to projects that received BAFTA awards, festival prizes at Venice, San Sebastián and Edinburgh, and an Academy Award nomination for *Water*.
