## Biography

Corky Ehlers is an American film and television editor. Born Donald "Corky" Ehlers, he is the son of Donald J. Ehlers, an assistant process camera operator at RKO, and Evelyn Velma Hesse (née Lessley), niece of cinematographer Elgin Lessley.

Ehlers edited *Jaws 3-D* (1983), *Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man* (1991), *Gettysburg* (1993) and *Gods and Generals* (2003). His television work includes the miniseries *Lonesome Dove* (1989), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination.
