Cornelius MacSunday was a German-born American actor. Born Max Cornelius Sonntag on 5 March 1864 in Bremerhaven, Germany, he appeared in supporting roles in films from the silent era into the 1930s. He died on 1 January 1950 in Valley Stream, New York.

His film credits include a constable in *Peggy Puts It Over* (1921), a role in the short *Many a Slip* (1927, as Con MacSunday), Emperor Franz Josef (uncredited) in *The Smiling Lieutenant* (1931), Gentry's butler (uncredited) in *Crime Without Passion* (1934), and Craig's butler in *Soak the Rich* (1936). He also performed on Broadway under the name Con MacSunday in productions including *Miracle at Verdun* (1931) and *American Landscape* (1938).
