## Biography

Cory Geryak is a cinematographer and former gaffer. He began his career in special effects before moving into camera and lighting work after film school, relocating to Los Angeles where he took on gaffer and chief lighting technician roles.

He served as chief lighting technician on major productions including *Inception* (2010), *The Dark Knight Rises* (2012) and *Her* (2013). Around the 2010s he transitioned to director of photography, with credits on *Temple* (2017), *Saving Zoë* (2019), *Running with the Devil* (2019), *The Vanished* (2020) and *The Ruse* (2024). He has also worked as additional or second-unit director of photography on *The Nun* (2018) and *Senna* (2024), and is cinematographer on the series *The Shards* (2026).
