## Biography

Cosima Vellenzer is a German production designer. Born in 1987 in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, she trained at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.

She is credited as production designer on *The Universal Theory* (2023) and *Sound of Falling* (2025). Earlier credits include assistant production designer on *Head Full of Honey* (2018) and art department work on *Never Look Away* (2018). She has also designed for television series including episodes of *Tatort*.

Her work on *The Universal Theory* earned a German Film Award (Lola) for Best Production Design in 2024, shared with Anika Klatt. For *Sound of Falling* she received the Prize of the Prime Minister at the 2025 Günter Rohrbach Filmpreis.
