## Biography

Craig W. Van Sickle is an American television writer, producer and creator. He graduated from Indiana University in 1979 with a degree in telecommunications and moved to Los Angeles, where he began his career selling scripts to series including *The Love Boat* and *Murder, She Wrote*.

With longtime writing partner Steven Long Mitchell, he co-created the series *The Pretender* (1996), on which they served as writers, producers and directors. Van Sickle has written episodes of *24* (2001), *NCIS* (2003), *Medical Investigation*, *Alien Nation* (1989) and *Star Wars: The Clone Wars* (2008). He also wrote for the miniseries *Tin Man* (2007), for which he received an Emmy nomination, and has co-authored novels set in the *Pretender* universe.
