## Biography

Craig Zobel is an American film and television director, producer and screenwriter. He studied film at the North Carolina School of the Arts and began his career working on early films by David Gordon Green, including as co-producer on *George Washington* (2000).

Zobel has directed the feature films *Great World of Sound* (2007), *Compliance* (2012), *Z for Zachariah* (2015) and *The Hunt* (2020). On television he has directed episodes of *The Leftovers* (2014), *American Gods* (2017), *Westworld* (2016) and *The Penguin* (2024), and all seven episodes of the miniseries *Mare of Easttown* (2021), on which he also served as executive producer. He co-created the animated web series *Homestar Runner* with Mike and Matt Chapman.
