Cynthia Scheider (née Bebout) is an American film editor. She began her career acting in off-Broadway productions in New York in the early 1960s before moving into film editing.

Scheider worked as an assistant editor on *The French Connection* (1971) and *Sorcerer* (1977). She received editing credits on *Breaking Away* (1979), *Chilly Scenes of Winter* (1979), *Eyewitness* (1981), *Without a Trace* (1983), *The Legend of Billie Jean* (1985), *The Men's Club* (1986) and *batteries not included* (1987), among other films. She was married to actor Roy Scheider from 1962 until their divorce in the mid-1980s.
