Dahmane El Harrachi, born Abderrahmane Amrani, was an Algerian singer, songwriter and composer of chaâbi music. He was born on 7 July 1926 in El Biar, Algiers, and died on 31 August 1980 in Aïn Bénian, Algeria.

He began performing in the 1940s and recorded his first disc in 1956. His song *Ya Rayah*, released in France in 1973, became one of his best-known works and has been covered by other artists. His compositions have been used in films and television, including music credits on *The Good Wife* (2009), *Mesrine: Killer Instinct* (2008), *Mann* (1999) and *Poetical Refugee* (2001). His son, Kamel El Harrachi, is also a chaâbi singer-songwriter.
