## Biography

Dallas McKennon was an American actor and voice actor. He provided several voices for the 1955 Disney film *Lady and the Tramp*, including Toughy, the Professor, Pedro and the Hyena.

His other voice work includes characters in *Mary Poppins* (1964), *The Birds* (1963), *How the Grinch Stole Christmas!* (1966) and *Bedknobs and Broomsticks* (1971). McKennon also voiced Gumby in the stop-motion series and Buzz Buzzard in the *Woody Woodpecker* cartoons, and supplied voices for Disney theme park attractions. His career spanned more than 50 years.
