## Biography

Damir Ibrahimović was a Bosnian film producer. Born in Sarajevo on 18 July 1965, he graduated from the Faculty of Economy in Sarajevo. He co-founded the production company Deblokada with director Jasmila Žbanić, whom he met during the siege of Sarajevo; the pair collaborated closely thereafter.

Ibrahimović produced Žbanić’s *Grbavica: The Land of My Dreams* (2006), which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, and *Quo Vadis, Aida?* (2020), which received an Academy Award nomination for Best International Feature Film. He died in Sarajevo on 9 October 2025, aged 60.
