Dan Guterman is a television writer and producer. He wrote for the satirical website *The Onion* from 1999 to 2010 and contributed to *The Colbert Report* (2010–2014).

Guterman joined the writing staff of *Community* for its fifth and sixth seasons (2014–2015), serving as executive story editor and writer on episodes including "Bondage and Beta Male Sexuality" and "Basic RV Repair and Palmistry". He has also written for *Rick and Morty* (2015–2017) and created the animated miniseries *Carol & the End of the World* (2023).
