## Biography

Dan Jinks is an American film and television producer. He began his career in the late 1990s, producing *Nothing to Lose* (1997) and serving as executive producer on *The Bone Collector* (1999).

Jinks produced *American Beauty* (1999) with Bruce Cohen through their Jinks/Cohen Company; the film won the Academy Award for Best Picture. Their subsequent films include *Down with Love* (2003), *Big Fish* (2003), *The Forgotten* (2004), *The Nines* (2007) and *Milk* (2008). They also executive produced the television series *Pushing Daisies* (2007).

The Jinks/Cohen partnership ended in 2010. Jinks then launched the Dan Jinks Company and signed an overall deal with CBS Television Studios in 2011.
