Dan Nowak is a television writer and producer. He began working on the AMC series *The Killing* (2011–2014), where he served as a writer, executive story editor and producer.

Nowak contributed as a writer and in various producing capacities on *The Expanse* (2015–2022), including episodes across multiple seasons and roles up to executive producer. He also wrote episodes of *Get Shorty* (2017) and *Seven Seconds* (2018), serving as co-executive producer on both series. In 2018 he developed an unproduced drama series, *Trashers*, for FX.
