## Biography

Dan Povenmire is an American animator, director, writer, producer and voice actor. He directed episodes of the animated series *Family Guy* (1999), including several in the 'Road to...' sequence, and contributed to other animated programmes such as *SpongeBob SquarePants* (1999), *Rocko's Modern Life* (1993) and *Hey Arnold!* (1996).

With Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh, Povenmire co-created the Disney series *Phineas and Ferb* (2007), in which he voices the character Dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz. He also co-created *Milo Murphy's Law* (2016) and created *Hamster & Gretel* (2022). Povenmire was born on 18 September 1963 in California and studied at the University of Southern California.
