Dan Seymour, born Daniel Seymour Katz, was an American character actor. A native of Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.S. in Fine Arts. He worked as an emcee in nightclubs before moving to Hollywood, where his build led to frequent casting as villains.

Seymour appeared in several Humphrey Bogart films, including *Casablanca* (1942), *To Have and Have Not* (1944) as Captain Renard and *Key Largo* (1948) as Angel Garcia. He played Pacquet, the storekeeper, in *Johnny Belinda* (1948) and had roles in *The Big Heat* (1953) and other films. On television he appeared in series including *Batman* (1966) as the Maharajah and multiple episodes of *Perry Mason*.
