Danica McKellar is an American actress. She is known for playing Gwendolyn 'Winnie' Cooper in the television series *The Wonder Years* (1988–1993).

McKellar graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a degree in mathematics in 1998. She has written several New York Times bestselling books on mathematics, including *Math Doesn't Suck* (2007), *Kiss My Math* (2008) and *Hot X: Algebra Exposed!* (2010), aimed at encouraging girls in the subject.
