## Biography

Daniel Emmerson is a British film producer and managing director of DMC Film, the company co-founded by Michael Fassbender and Conor McCaughan.

He produced *Calm with Horses* (2019), an adaptation of a short story from Colin Barrett's collection *Young Skins*. Emmerson sourced the rights, worked on the script with director Nick Rowland and writer Joe Murtagh, and secured financing from Film4, the Irish Film Board and the WRAP Fund. The film received a nomination for Outstanding British Film at the 2021 BAFTA Awards. Emmerson was also nominated for Breakthrough Producer at the 2021 British Independent Film Awards. His other credits include associate producer on *Assassin's Creed* (2016), executive producer on *Scrapper* (2023) and producer on *The Kitchen* (2023).
