Daniel G. Tomlinson was an American actor and writer. He appeared in several Hollywood films of the 1920s and 1930s, often in supporting or uncredited roles.

His screen credits include the part of Jim, Mary's brother, in King Vidor's *The Crowd* (1928). He also played the Sergeant of Dragoons in *Bardelys the Magnificent* (1926) and contributed the story and screenplay for *Captain Lash* (1929). Tomlinson was born on 1 May 1889 in New York and died on 4 January 1951 in Orange, California.
